LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 2026

The Cardinals were limited to just five singles in a 4-0 loss to the Tigers today in Detroit. The loss continued their recent struggles for the Cardinals in Detroit, where they are now just 4-17 since 2006. Michael McGreevy took the loss, allowing three runs in 4 2/3 innings.

Masyn Winn was in the starting lineup two days after he was involved in a car accident in St. Louis but he came out of the game for a pinch-hitter in the seventh, complaining of left hip tightness.

Dustin May will make his second start of the season on Saturday while former Cardinal Jack Flaherty is scheduled to start for the Tigers.
