
Game Report: Canucks 5, Blues 1
The Blues out-shot the Canucks 15-5 in the first period Thursday night in Vancouver but could not score, and that gave the Canucks the opening they needed.
Two goals in the span of 28 seconds in the second period sent the Canucks to the victory.
The only goal from the Blues came from Vladimir Tarasenko after the Canucls had opened a 3-0 lead, his 11th of the season and second In as many games after going seven consecutive games without a goal. The Canucks added two more goals later in the third period against Jake Allen.
The Blues out-shot the Canucks 30-29 for the game.
Looking ahead: The Blues will wrap up a three-game trip on Saturday in Calgary, their final game before the league’s Christmas break.
