Game Report: Blues 5, Ducks 4

The Blues pulled out another victory in dramatic fashion Wednesday night in Anaheim.

Trailing by a goal with just over a minute left in the game, the Blues scored twice in a 12-second span to defeat the Ducks, the 14th win by the Blues in their last 18 games.

Robert Thomas tied the game with his goal with 1:04 to play and 12 second later, with 52 seconds to go, Alex Pietrangelo scored the game winner.

The rally came after the Blues let a 3-1 lead slip away, allowing three consecutive goals between the second and third period.

Jordan Binnington got the win despite allowing the four goals on 27 shots.

Thomas also scored earlier in the game, one of three power-play goals by the Blues. The others came from Brayden Schenn, back in the lineup after an injury, and Ryan O’Reilly.

Looking ahead: The Blues stay in Los Angeles, taking the Kings on Thursday night.
