Four touchdown passes carry Florida to big win over Missouri

Except for one play, the Missouri Tigers could not stop Kyle Trask and Florida on Saturday night in Gainesville.

Trask passed for 345 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Gators to a 41-17 win, snapping Missouri’s two-game winning streak. The only blemish on the night for Trask was an interception, which Jarvis Ware returned 59 yards for a touchdown.

That play gave Missouri a 7-6 lead early in the second quarter, but the Gators responded with two touchdowns before the half and outscored Missouri 35-3 before Larry Rountree III rushed for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

Two of Trask’s touchdown passes went to Kadaris Toney on plays of 18 and 30 yards. Toney also scored on a 16-yard run.

Missouri quarterback Connor Bazelak completed 26 of 40 passes for 308 yards.

Missouri has a bye week next week before playing Georgia on Nov. 14.
