SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 2026

Jordan Walker hit his league-leading sixth homer of the year for the Cardinals on Saturday night, but the Red Sox scored five runs in the ninth inning off Matt Svanson to turn a 2-1 game into a 7-1 victory at Busch Stadium. Walker's homer, which matches his total from last season, came in the eighth inning to pull the Cardinals within one run. Willson Contreras drove in three runs for the Red Sox, who got six consecutive hits in the ninth.

Andre Pallante will get the start today in the finale of the three-game series.
