The Twins rallied for three runs in the seventh and eighth innings off JoJo Romero and George Soriano on Sunday to defeat the Cardinals 5-4 in Minneapolis. It was a bad weekend for the Cardinals bullpen, which allowed 10 combined runs over the three games, with the Twins picking up two late victories.

Alec Burleson and JJ Wetherholt homered for the Cardinals. Burleson's 13th of the season extended his hitting streak to 14 games while Wetherholt also had an RBI single, driving in three runs.
