LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

MONDAY, MARCH 23, 2026

Jordan Walker hit his first home run of the spring in the Cardinals final game on Sunday as part of a two-hit day in a 3-2 win over the Astros in West Palm Beach. Walker had been 7-of-40 this spring, with all of the hits singles, before his home run. Michael McGreevy allowed one run over five innings.

The Cardinals, who ended the spring with a five-game winning streak, will play their Double A affiliate tonight in an exhibition game in Springfield. Dustin May will get the start. The team has yet to announce its final roster cuts and will take the extra position players with them to Springfield.
