LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

MONDAY, FEB. 23, 2026

The Cardinals rallied for three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning behind several minor leaguers for a 5-4 win over the Marlins today in Jupiter. The winning run scored on a wild pitch.

Michael McGreevy gave up a leadoff home run - using a batting practice baseball - but otherwise was effective over two innings in his first start of the spring.

Andre Pallante will make his first start of the spring on Tuesday night when the Cardinals play the Nationals in West Palm Beach. The game is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. St. Louis time.
