WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 2026 

The Cardinals scored four runs in the first inning and JJ Wetherholt added a two-run homer in the sixth in a 6-4 win over the Athletics on Tuesday night in their first game ever in Sacramento. Riley O'Brien earned the save after he had given up a game-tying homer in the ninth on Sunday in San Diego.

Matthew Liberatore will get the start tonight in the second game of the three-game series.
