Opening Day 2024: Thursday April 4 Busch Stadium  3:15 game

Opening Day is a holiday in St. Louis. Fans love coming downtown early and there is a lot to do. There is a stage set up in Ballpark Village where fans gather to listen to music, see Fredbird and generally just get into the spirit of Opening Day. At nearby Kiener Plaza, FOX2 and other media outlets have their fair-like pep rally with food booths and give-aways. KMOS has their annual Kegs and Eggs which always sells out. To really experience Opening Day in St. Louis, it’s best to get downtown several hours before gametime. You will want to have fun outside but you also need to get in line to get in the stadium so you will be there in time for the pre-game festivities.

Weather: Predicted temperature at game time is 48 degrees with a high of 50.
