LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 2026

A six-run second inning knocked starter Matthew Liberatore out of the game and sent the Royal to a 14-6 win over the Cardinals on Thursday night in Kansas City. The Royals hit eight doubles, five of them in that inning, and also hit three homers in a 17-hit attack.
