Leadoff Quick Hitters

WEDNESDAY,  MARCH 3, 2021

Adam Wainwright retired all six batters he faced in his first start of the spring on Tuesdayday for the Cardinals, who played to a scoreless seven-inning tie against the Marlins in Jupiter. The Cardinals have tied both of their first two games of the spring. Wainwright and four relievers combined to allow only two hits and the Marlins did not get a runner past second base.

Kwang Hyun Kim will get the start today as the Cardinals take on the Mets in Jupiter.
